PROCEDURES FOR APPOINTMENT OF RS06
If a ship owner is interested to appoint RS06 as an AA and agree to accept the Terms and Conditions, please proceed to apply online for the appointment.
Upon receipt of the application for appointment, MCS may contact you for clarification and on confirmation of deposit.
The following details must be submitted for:

Changing AA with existing Terminal IDs.
- Details of your company
- Ship Name/Landmobile, Call Sign (if any), Terminal IDs and the present AA
- Indicate the date when RS06 service is required (Please follow up with your present AA regarding termination of their service and the cut-off date).

Appointing AA for new Terminal IDs
- Details of your company
- Ship Name/Landmobile, and Call Sign and Terminal IDs (if any)
- Indicate the date when RS06 service is required
An authorisation will be issued to the Point of Service Activation (PSA) after verification of customer details and payment of deposit. Arrangements will be made with the PSA to change AA to RS06 for item (1) and to commission the IDs for item (2).
The PSA will inform Inmarsat London accordingly through the fully automated Electronic Service Activation System (ESAS).
