Owner using internet wishing to send e-mail from Shore-to-Ship Inmarsat-C must first register for the service by completing the online application. You can register your email address specifically or you can request an Inmarsat-C Registered Username, allowing you to send from any email address.

Upon receipt of the online application, MCS will forward the details to our preferred partners (Marlink or KDDI) for processing and activating the emailing service. MCS will notify the owner as soon the emailing service is successfully activated.

Owner (registered shore Internet users) will be billed directly for all their email traffic. Each bill is based on the message records of the registered e-mail address or registered username in the gateway. If a company has registered more Internet addresses a bill will be generated for each address.

All billing of email traffic is executed in the normal way via the Accounting Authority RS06.
